The new main waste water drainage line from New Zagreb is a part of the complete project of infrastructure facilities for construction of CWWTP Zagreb. From Novi Zagreb, part of the city south of the Sava River with more than 100,000 inhabitants, sewage waters are drained by the approx. 4 km long retention canal to the pumping station Mičevec. The pumping station Mičevec lifts wastewater into the pressure pipeline, length of approx. 6.4 km, by which wastewater from New Zagreb transferred are across the Sava River and supplied to the wastewater treatment plant.
