Vladimir Prelog science school visiting ZOV
The natural subjects are a real pleasure for them! Chemistry is easy and on fieldwork, they will not complain. In fact, students of the 2.e and 3.e degree from Vladimir Prelog science school been thrilled by what they learned on our plant. As these students are educated for future environmental technicians, so there is no coincidence that they visited us, because we are dealing with environmental activities and wastewater treatment. Nice students have explained us that the profession of environmental technicians is a profession of the future. With their expertise, these young people will take part in all areas of environmental protection. Their program enables an independent implementation of the chemical, biological and microbiological analyses with modern methods. While their ecological group has already started projects of physical and microbiological analyses of water.
The students were especially impressed to learn that the plant is not only purifies the water of one million inhabitants, but also gets electricity, thanks to the sludge from the digester from which arises gas and which later the gas generators transform into electricity.
