Cooperation of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Germany is always promising. So this time also, when with the help of the association of German companies in the field of water management "German Water Partnership" and with the support of the German government was made a pilot project "Training and Competence Centre” (TCC). After the success, the German Foundation for the environment "Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt" (DBU) helped with aid and grants for further steps. At the same time, "German Association for water supply, drainage and waste" (DWA) took professional supervision over the work of this center.
The center TCC Danubius is also supported from the Croatian side, like the Ministry of Agriculture, Croatian Waters, and professional associations such as the Croatian Society for the Protection of Water (HDZV).
Last week in the premises of Zagrebačke otpadne vode (ZOV), TCC Danubius held the first training of technical personnel who will operate on the wastewater treatment plants. ZOV encourages the education of young people, especially in the field of environmental protection.
