To help future scientists on their way, on the 95. anniversary of Faculty of Chemical Engineering, a handful of companies selflessly joined the scholarships for the best students.
The student Lara Čižmek graduate in the academic year 2013/2014. on graduate level Ecoengineering with laud MAGNA CUM LAUDE, on the topic "Biodegradation of pharmaceuticals with a bacterial culture". So, on behalf of the Management Board of ZOV the spokeswoman Astrid Werbolle presented the award Vjera Marjanović Krajovan to Lara Čižmek.
The focus of Lara's graduate work was on the biodegradation of erythromycin using bacterial cultures of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which indicates the possibility of action of Bioaugmentation in the environment.
