Today we celebrate World Recycling Day
The celebration of World Recycling Day was launched in 2018 by the World Recycling Foundation.
The goal of marking Recycling Day is primarily aimed at recognizing and emphasizing the importance that recycling has in preserving valuable non-renewable primary resources for future generations. In addition, marking the day of recycling is for:
1. Promote the importance and significance of recycling to all stakeholders at all levels of society
2. Emphasize the importance of 'resource' thinking among all stakeholders and promote the use of secondary raw materials.
