The article “Croatian Climate Change Adaptation Fund Worth 17 Million Euros” written by Lauren Simmonds on the 3rd of April 2024 was published by Total Croatia news. It educates about the intended usage of the Croatian climate change adaptation fund for further environmental protection in Croatia.

The 17-million-euro-fund is meant to adapt the persistence of Croatian infrastructure against climate change, as the author states. A tender for co-financing this fund was put out by the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.

According to the author, this cooperation with the Ministry of  Economy and Sustainable Development has already been working powerfully in the last two years. Cities can have up to two projects funded with a maximum of 350 000 euros, aiming to increase Urban Greening.

The author concludes that this is an important step for Croatian urbanism and for the resilience of cities to the damage through climatic changes.
