Even the heated asphalt and temperatures above 35 degrees did not prevent us from hosting about 30 domestic and foreign students this week. It is a summer school of the ToxLearn4EU Erasmus+ program, attended by students from 10 partner institutions from Europe. The two-week summer school was attended by masters and doctoral students of various, primarily natural science faculties, while the entire program was organized by the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health. The program of this exchange was mostly focused on environmental toxicology also implementation of new approaches, wastewater treatment and environmental protection, water quality and ecosystems of the city of Zagreb, so for these students were very interesting topics. Therefore, the visit to ZOV proved to be a full hit and an important item for the application of knowledge from student benches.

At WWTP came students from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, accompanied by Marko Gerić, PhD from the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health, who explained that this is the first year of the project and that they hope for further cooperation with ZOV in the years to come.
