Faculty of chemical engineering and technology celebrates the 96th anniversary
A great celebration of the 96th anniversary of the Faculty of chemical engineering and technology in Zagreb, took place this week. Many renowned lecturers, deans, and the Rector of the University in Zagreb have participated in this event. Also scientists, professors and students, who have shown a great knowledge in the last year and have achieved excellent average values.
On the 96th anniversary in the large auditorium of the faculty, prof.dr.sc. Bruno Zelić welcomes all and point out the importance of young scientists for our economy. After the welcome speech, there was a musical break and the prizes were been awarded. Many business people have contributed and supported financially the best students. Hence, our representative Astrid Werbolle has awarded, in the name of Zagrebačke otpadne vode d.o.o., the best student of environmental engineering Anamaria Slivar.
As well as the Dean Zelić said, it is important that students in the studies meet on economy, to gain the experience and practice for the future job, while the business people in this way recognize a young person with, knowledge what certainly later contribute to the development of Croatia.
