The project "Exploring worlds of science and innovation" successfully completed

In early 2016, started the project "Exploring worlds of science and innovation" as a result of cooperation between Zagrebačke otpadne vode, the Foundation "Znanje na djelu” and Ruđer Bošković Institute.

In March, as part of the project, Zagrebačke otpadne vode visited couple of professors from the elementary schools from Zagreb, to learn more about the waste water treatment so they can transfer the knowledge to their students.

But to make the project more successfully unavoidable are students, who were visiting, before the ending of the project, few various workshops, so they can implement the acquired knowledge by visiting sponsor company’s.

On the wastewater treatment plant at Žitnjak they arrived last Friday, full of questions and will for learn something new in the field of ecology. Under the baton of spokeswoman Astrid Werbolle and chief technologist Marin Ganjto, they learned in detail about all the stages of wastewater purification, while in the lab they saw how the sludge looks like and how is a bacteria look like under the microscope.

The interest of students was high, which is a great indicator of how the project, who is dedicated to future students, is an excellent idea that certainly has a future.
